Since Kona has no great Chinese food, my family and I have defaulted to Panda Express a couple of times. The last few times I've been there it's been O.K., but night before last, was so disturbing that I have to write a review. I ordered the teriyaki chicken as well as the people in front of me. They said that it would be five minutes, and we agreed to wait. So I went ahead and paid for my order and I waited. After a couple of minutes, I saw them cutting the chicken on the wooden cutting board that they use, so I walked up to the glass. I saw a piece of chicken that was bloody inside and I blurted out "That chicken is not done!". She said "Yes, it's because it's a thicker piece.". With the knife, she pushed the raw chicken to the side of the cutting board and kept cutting... I don't know why I took it. Maybe because I'd already paid? Because I didn't wanna be confrontational? I took my plate outside and met my husband who'd gotten Ultimate Burger.. I couldn't even eat my food.. In hindsight, I should have said something, but I think instead, I'll just go to Ultimate Burger with my husband.

Yaaay!! The last time I visited, chili flakes were present in the orange chicken. Staff is friendly and the servings are generous. Great to share or for late night leftovers snacks :)

Great location in Kona Commons SC includes other restaurants next door. Spacious facility with ool AC but tends to run out of seating area fairly quick. Fill your own drinks allows you to put in the right amount of ice you like. The food is delicious ad stir fried fresh with no MSG, but the staff tends to hurry you during ordering. Free fortune cookie with plate purchase, yum!

Excellent service that is very customer friendly. The food is always nice and warm not just laying there getting old like most places. Plus it's very clean inside.

This is bad. 1 star anywhere else, but this isn't even in the bottom 5 of local Chinese places. If you like Panda Express's microwave flavors though, this is the same as the mainland pretty much.

Food is standard but the employees are obnoxious. They were so busy hollering back and both at each other that they handed me my plate without my "first item", so it was literally just a plate of noddles. It happens. Fine. But to be yelling and playing around while people are trying to eat was quite annoying.

Did not like the service that my sister and I got today eating here. Walked in at 2:15 and the lady in front of us said she was waiting almost 15 minutes as there was no food on the hot line and she had to wait. There was 2 girls in the front, 2 cooks and a manager. When we walked in 3 other people walked in and the line got long as we waited for the girls to make the first lady's food. The thing that got me mad was while we all waited the manager made a plate and walked it over to a guy (who we later learned it was her boyfriend as she went and sat on his lap after he ate) she then say there with him. Mind you the line was long and the girl ringing up was a trainee. The cook had to come over and help the cashier. Please note that after the managers boyfriend was done eating she then went and made a package full of food for him to take home as well as got something black in a ziplock bag from behind the register. I really like how the manager is training her employees to steal!!!

It was very busy tonight. So of course the wait was a bit long. Food was running out so there was a little wait, which I didn't mind. Panda's is always great. Quick stop dining

One night I came in to dine at panda and the employee(rocky) was so welcoming with a big smile. I order chow-mein and beef broccoli and he piled the plate so it was worth the price. he also gave me a big discount which was even better. Overall great place and great food. -alwaysfreecuh

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
